The PIERRE lounge chair is a tribute to French Artist, Pierre Soulages, whom for over 70 years has been exploring the textures of the black colour. The creation of PIERRE was inspired by a 1975 silk printing which gives an impression to be an armchair. With a play on texture, the solid oak on PIERRE is deeply “scratched” to further reveal its fluid wood veins. Designed with a lower and wider seating, paired with a medium density seat cushion, PIERRE offers a pampered seating experience, perfect for lounging.
